DEMARCHE⎮STATEMENT
[FR] Ma pratique émerge d'un questionnement multiple à propos de la condition humaine dans sa grande diversité que j’aborde sous l’angle de l’identité, individuelle et collective. Cette première approche a révélé une préoccupation plus profonde pour les entités non-humaines et les rapports que nous entretenons nous humains avec cette partie de notre environnement, les modalités de notre coexistence. A travers plusieurs recherches récentes j’interroge particulièrement la qualité de notre relation avec la technologie. La technologie dans le sens de médias numériques, comment ils altèrent notre rapport au réel, en les utilisant ils modifient insidieusement nos corps, notre manière d’appréhender le monde, comment ils façonnent nos rapports sociaux, pourquoi nous leur faisons une place, comment ils amplifient nos projections et par conséquent comment à notre tour nous les corrigeons sans cesse jusqu’à leur achèvement : l’incorporation.
Mes productions s’apparentent à des brèches, des interstices préliminaires à cet achèvement où les définitions sémantiques se troublent et se contaminent.
Je réalise des installations souvent constituées de projections, visuelles et sonores, d'animation 3D, de la programmation. Je propose des expériences, des instants qui tendent à happer l’attention du visiteur et l’accompagner dans un univers où tous n'est pas borné, qui laisse place à sa propre interprétation.
BIOGRAPHIE⎮BIOGRAPHY
[FR] Artiste hybride basée à Bruxelles, Laurie-Anne Jaubert est diplômée de l’ESA Aix-en-Provence après un cursus en Anthropologie Culturelle et en Science Politique. En janvier 2021 à Marseille (FR), elle est accompagnée par Dos Mares pour une première exposition personnelle aux Ateliers Vian. Au même moment, elle est en résidence de recherche à l'usine des 8 Pillards. Forte de ces expériences et soutenue par la Région Sud, elle entame une résidence artistique de recherche-création-production de 6 mois à la Werktank Factory à Leuven en Belgique en septembre 2021, qui aboutit à la création de la Lumitérale.
Dans son parcours, elle a participé à de nombreuses expositions collectives telles que "GHOST DANCE" au Château La Coste en février 2021, ou plus récemment, à l’exposition "(UN)Common Ground" à l’iMAL en mai 2022, ainsi qu'au KIKK Festival en octobre 2022.
En décembre 2023, elle s'associe avec le producteur sonore Humn, avec qui elle forme le duo Cenote. Ensemble, ils réalisent des performances expérimentales et expérientielles, tant sonores que visuelles.

[EN] My practice emerges from a multiple questioning about the human condition in its great diversity, which I approach from the angle of identity, individual and collective. This first approach revealed a deeper preoccupation with non-human entities and the relationship we humans have with this part of our environment, the modalities of our coexistence. Through several recent researches I question particularly the quality of our relationship with technology. Technology in the sense of digital media, how they alter our relationship to reality, how using them insidiously modifies our bodies, our way of apprehending the world, how they shape our social relationships, why we make room for them, how they amplify our projections and consequently how in turn we constantly correct them until their completion: incorporation.
My productions are like breaches, preliminary interstices to this completion where semantic definitions become confused and contaminated.
I create installations often consisting of projections, visual and sound, 3D animation, programming. I propose experiences, moments that tend to catch the visitor's attention and accompany him into a universe in which everything is not entirely decipherable not entirely decipherable.
[EN] Hybrid artist based in Brussels, Laurie-Anne Jaubert graduated from ESA Aix-en-Provence after a bachelor in Cultural Anthropology and Political Science. In January 2021 in Marseille (FR) she is supported by Dos Mares for a first solo exhibition at Ateliers Vian. At the same time, she is in a research residency at the 8 Pillards factory. On the strength of these experiences and supported by the South Region, she started a 6-month artistic research-creation-production residency at the Werktank Factory in Leuven, Belgium in September 2021, which gave birth to the Lumitérale.
In her career she has participated in numerous group exhibitions such as "GHOST DANCE" at Château La Coste in February 2021 or more recently, the exhibition "(UN)Common Ground" at iMAL in May 2022 as well as the KIKK Festival de Namur in October 2022.
In December 2023, she collaborates with the sound producer Humn to establish the duo Cenote. Together, they produce experimental and experiential performances, combining sound and visual elements.
