[FR] Laurie-Anne Jaubert est une artiste hybride basée à Bruxelles, diplômée de l'ESA Aix-en-Provence après des études d'anthropologie culturelle et de sciences politiques. En septembre 2021, elle entame une résidence transformatrice de six mois au Werktank Factory de Louvain (BE), soutenue par la Région Sud. Cette résidence marque un tournant dans sa carrière, menant à la création de Lumitérale, un projet qui lui permet de se produire en live, notamment à l'espace Ubik du WORM à Rotterdam (NL) en mai 2024. Le succès de Lumitérale lui ouvre également les portes à s'engager comme scénographe dans le théâtre et la mode. Laurie-Anne a participé à de nombreuses expositions collectives, dont « (UN)Common Ground » à iMAL à Bruxelles (BE) en mai 2022 et au Festival KIKK à Namur (BE) en octobre 2022. En 2024, son travail de scénographe a été présenté à la Maison de la Musique de Nanterre (FR) pour le défilé Fantasmagorie, ainsi que dans des productions théâtrales aux côtés de la metteuse en scène Marina Yerles.
Sa pratique artistique explore l'intersection de l'art, de la technologie et de la société, en mettant l'accent sur les thèmes de la mémoire, de l'identité et de la nature éphémère de l'expérience. En intégrant divers médiums, dont la vidéo, l'installation et la performance, Laurie-Anne crée des environnements immersifs qui invitent le public à l'interaction et à la réflexion. Par ses divers engagements et collaborations, Laurie-Anne Jaubert continue de contribuer au paysage changeant des arts médiatiques contemporains.

[EN] Laurie-Anne Jaubert is a hybrid artist based in Brussels, who graduated from ESA Aix-en-Provence after studying Cultural Anthropology and Political Science. In September 2021, she began a transformative sixmonth residency at the Werktank Factory in Leuven (BE), supported by the Région Sud. This residency marked a turning point in her career, leading to the creation of Lumitérale, a project that allowed her to perform live, notably at the Ubik space of WORM in Rotterdam (NL) in May 2024. The success of Lumitérale also opened doors for her to engage as a scenographer in both theater and fashion. Laurie-Anne has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including "(UN)Common Ground" at iMAL in Brussels (BE) in May 2022 and the KIKK Festival in Namur (BE) in October 2022. In 2024, her work as a scenographer was showcased at the Maison de la Musique in Nanterre (FR) for the Fantasmagorie fashion show, as well as in theater productions alongside director Marina Yerles.
Her artistic practice explores the intersection of art, technology, and society, with a focus on themes of memory, identity, and the ephemeral nature of experience. By integrating various mediums, including video, installation, and performance, Laurie-Anne creates immersive environments that invite audience interaction and reflection. Through her diverse engagements and collaborations, Laurie-Anne Jaubert continues to contribute to the evolving landscape of contemporary media arts.
